Top 5 Products – Summer Skincare Routine

Summer is a couple of days away which means that my skincare routine needs to change! Recently, I discovered some amazing products from The Body Shop and here are my top 5 products, which are a must in my skincare routine.

1. Face Peels

I was introduced to these amazing face peels from The Body Shop by one of my friends who works there. And I can safely say that they are effective and they remove all the dead skin. One that I really like is the Drops of Youth Liquid Peel which is a soft, gelatin-like peel. It doesn’t irritate your face. Before I discovered these face peels I used to use coffee to exfoliate, but it was a bit harsh on my skin. Thankfully, that won’t happen again anytime soon!

2. Vitamin E Moisture Cream

Moisturiser is always included in my skincare routine. It is extremely important to moisturise your skin. I am still using the Vitamin E Moisture Cream that I mentioned in my April Favourites. It moisturises your skin all day and it also has a mattifying effect.

3. Vitamin E Eye Cream

Along with the Vitamin E Moisture Cream, I have also been using the Vitamin E Eye Cream in order to hydrate the sensitive area around my eyes. This eye cream reduces the appearance of fine lines, puffiness and helps reduce dark circles. So, if you have any of the previous issues, give it a try!

4. Oils of Life Facial Oil

One product that has revolutionised my skincare routine is this Facial Oil. It leaves your skin so smooth and soft. Plus, if you use a tiny bit before applying your makeup, the foundation will glide on smoothly and it will make your skin look more glowy. Definitely worth trying out.

5. Aloe Soothing Rescue Cream Mask

The Body Shop says about this mask that it is developed for sensitive skin, thus it is perfect for me. It doesn’t have perfume in its consistency, which is what usually irritates my skin. “This mask nourishes and helps soothe the discomfort associated with sensitive and dry skin. Our restoring mask leaves skin feeling more soft, smooth and calmed.” I use this mask a couple of times a week, I leave it overnight and it works wonders for my skin, really nourishing.
