The WISHLIST| Fashion Trends

In my too-soon, where-has-time-gone last year at university, I am going to be taking a Fashion course. I was browsing fashion websites and magazines for inspiration and in preparation for my up-coming course I got an idea. We all have a wishlist somewhere. Whether it is digital, on Asos.com or an Instagram “collection”, or whether it is imaginary, a mind-folder let’s say, a place where we pin our favourite trends and clothing articles for later, it exists.

This got me thinking of a new feature on my blog, the WISHLIST, a new sub-category where I am going to talk about the current fashion trends with examples from my personal shopping wishlist.

1. POLKA DOTS

Polka dots are in this summer, in any shape or form, from tops and dresses to shoes and swimsuits. One that is on my Wishlist is this Parisian Polka Dot Mesh Shift Dress which you can find on Asos.com. It is now on sale for £25 instead of  £34.99/ approximately 125 RON (on sale). Sadly, the black version is sold out, but I will keep an eye on it.

2. WHITE DRESSES

The next item on my wishlist is this white dress from Zara, you can get it for £29.99 / approximately 150 RON. White dresses, especially the ones with buttons, put me in a mood for a garden party, sipping on a cold glass of wine and enjoying the sunset.

3. CHECK PRINTS

Check prints are still in for the summer of 2018 and I believe they will make they way through Autumn and Winter too!

Just look at this blazer from Pull and Bear. It caught my eye the second I saw it on their website. The beautiful blazer is retailed for £29.99 / approximately 150 RON and you can find it here.

This cami-dress gives me a “Clueless”, ’90s vibe and I think this is why I saved it on my Asos account. You can find it on Asos.com for £17.99 / approximately 90 RON.

5. RAFFIA BAGS

The first bag is from Asos.com from South Beach, sold for £30 / approximately 150 RON. I just imagine myself going for a walk in Bucharest and stopping for a cold lemonade at a lounge in the Old Town.

This second bag is from Zara and it is so dreamy! You can find it on Zara.com for £29.99 / approximately 150 RON.

5. CRAYOLA TAKEOVER

My wardrobe mostly consists of black, white and nude clothes. I am not one to venture and wear bold, bright colours. But guess what, this summer is taken over by colours resembling a rainbow. At least scientists say that wearing bright clothes makes us happier.

This orange satin shirt from Pretty Little Thing is next on my wishlist and it is retailed for £22 / approximately 120 Ron. I have previously bought some items from them, when they were just launching the website and the whole business and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the clothes.

The last item on my wishlist is this blouse by Boutique, on Topshop.com in a vibrant yellow.   It is 97% cotton and what I like most about this is the zipper and the way it looks on the waist. It is now on sale for £35 from £69/ approximately 175 RON.
