#OOTD Purple Haze

“Every outfit has a story behind it.”

Sweater: H&M | Skirt: Primark | Bag: Handmade | Tights: Reserved

Hello lovely! Today is a really gloomy day in London and I decided to bring back a bit of colour into my day.

I just made a coffee, sat down and remembered I shot an outfit a while back that I only talked about on my Instagram.

I am currently in my third year of university…third and last…and I am taking a fashion journalism module and I have created a new Instagram account @stylishdirectory, as part of one of my assignments.

“Every outfit has a story behind it.”

This is my concept. I believe that every piece of clothing tells something and an outfit all together is a story waiting to be shared.

The story behind this #ootd is that I always used to dress monochromatically. Black, white and grey. Always. And in the last year or so, I have taken it upon me to let my personality shine through my choice of garments.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a similar bag anywhere, but on Etsy. I have looked online for similar clothes which you can find if you click on the items below.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog post and I will see you in my next one.

Don’t forget to get out of your comfort zone and express yourself through fashion.
